We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Sales & Marketing Manager to lead the performance and growth of our global distributor network.
This role combines strategic marketing, distributor management, commercial forecasting, and clinical engagement. Working closely with distributors and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)/surgeons, you will drive sustainable growth across international markets through ensuring appropriate training, marketing resources and support are in place.
In this role you will:
• Manage and review distributor performance through regular business reviews, ensuring achievement of sales targets and forecasts.
• Identify, appoint and develop new distributors aligned with the sports medicine sector in key markets.
• Manage underperforming distributors in line with contractual agreements.
• Work with approved suppliers and surgeons to create and deliver effective marketing collateral, including animations, video testimonials, surgical technique manuals, and digital content.
• Work with the Head of Clinical Education to identify training needs within the distributor network and deliver additional training through face-to-face training at Cad Labs and medical education events as required.
• Support website, SEO, social media, and wider marketing activities.
• Attend international conferences and medical education events.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and market intelligence to support business planning.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally:
• Be degree qualified, ideally in Human Biology, Anatomy, Physiotherapy, Sports Science, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Have strong experience within the orthopaedic medical devices sector.
• Have proven marketing experience with a track record of delivering growth.
• Have experience of creating compelling value propositions, business cases, and marketing materials.
• Have excellent communication, stakeholder management, networking, and people management skills.
• Be well organised with excellent project management capabilities.
• Be willing to travel internationally on a regular basis.
Desirable Requirements:
• Established relationships with orthopaedic surgeons, particularly in soft tissue sports medicine.
• Clinical background.
• Experience working in theatre environments and Cad Labs.
• Previous Product Manager or Marketing Manager experience within medical devices.
• Excellent knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
Hours:
The role is full-time working Monday to Friday, Flexi-time, based at our headquarters in Yeadon.
