Quality Assurance Associate

Are you someone who notices the details others miss, thinks critically, asks the right questions and enjoys getting to the bottom of things?

Do you have the intelligence, judgement and attention to detail to help ensure that medical devices meet the highest standards of quality and safety?

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Associate to join our team in the medical device industry. This is an opportunity for someone with a sharp mind, a methodical approach and a genuine desire to do things properly to build a career in a highly regulated environment where quality really matters.

What makes you right for this role?

Previous experience in Quality Assurance or working in a regulated environment would be an advantage, but it is not essential. Above all, we are looking for ability, aptitude, and potential.

We want someone who is:

  • Intelligent and perceptive – able to absorb information quickly, recognise patterns, spot inconsistencies and make sound judgements.
  • Naturally curious – someone who asks why, challenges assumptions constructively and wants to understand how things work.
  • Meticulous – attentive to detail, organised and committed to getting things right.
  • Analytical – able to interpret information, identify potential issues and approach problems logically.
  • Proactive and conscientious – someone who takes responsibility, follows through on tasks and understands the importance of doing things properly.
  • Eager to learn – motivated to develop their knowledge of quality systems, regulatory requirements and the medical device industry.

How will we assess your potential?

We recognise that academic qualifications and previous job titles do not tell the whole story. We are interested in evidence of strong intellectual ability and perceptiveness, which might be demonstrated through:

  • Strong A Level results.
  • A degree at 2:1 level or above.
  • A strong performance in our GIA (General Intelligence Assessment).

These are potential indicators of the capabilities we are looking for, rather than a requirement to have followed one particular educational or career path. If you can demonstrate the right aptitude, we would love to hear from you.

What will you be doing?

Working as part of our Quality team, you will help maintain and improve the systems and processes that ensure our medical devices meet applicable quality and regulatory requirements. Depending on your experience and development, your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting the maintenance of our Quality Management System.
  • Reviewing documentation and records for accuracy, completeness and compliance.
  • Assisting with non-conformances, investigations and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Supporting audits and projects to implement quality improvements.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the business to identify risks, resolve issues and promote a culture of quality.

You will receive the support and training needed to develop your technical knowledge and grow into the role.

Why join us?

This is an opportunity to develop a valuable career in a sector where quality, safety and attention to detail have a real impact. We are particularly interested in people with the potential to become excellent quality professionals, whether they are starting their careers or bringing transferable skills from another industry.

If you have a sharp mind, a keen eye for detail and the judgement to recognise when something isn’t quite right, we want to hear from you.

Don’t worry if you haven’t worked in medical devices before. We can help you learn the regulations and systems. What matters most is your ability to think clearly, spot what others might miss and take pride in doing things right.

Apply now to take the next step in building your career in Quality Assurance, up to Principal Quality Associate level. Excellent salary and benefits package.

Closing date: Tuesday 10th November
